Anyway, let's get into it.

3 cool things in tech

1. U.S. Justice Department reportedly prepares anti-trust case against Google The Department of Justice has apparently began some preliminary work into investigating Google for anti-trust violations. Many third parties have complained that big tech companies like Google and Facebook have become too big and powerful. Specifically, there are worries about the amount of user data that companies like these possess. 2. New iPhones are coming out later this year. Here are the rumored upgrades. Whether or not you believe having the latest, greatest apple phone is necessary, they are always coming out with new features and upgrades. This article dives in into some of the new features that are rumored be on the 3 new phones that Apple is releasing. As I'm sure you can guess, many of the upgrades are related to design and camera. 3. Groupon co-founder Eric Lefkofsky just raised $200 M for his new company. Eric Lefkofsky's new company, Tempus, is currently one of the most highly valued private companies in the city of Chicago. "Tempus has built a platform to collect, structure and analyze the clinical data that’s often unorganized in electronic medical record systems." The goal is to provide more individualized treatment for patients using this technology.

2 rising tech stocks

Another down week for the stock market. This time on the heel of President Trump invoking a tariff on goods coming into the country from Mexico. Despite that, there were a few tech stocks that were slightly up. 1. Snapchat: $11.58 to $11.86 (2.42%) 2. Docusign $54.26 to $55.84 (2.93%)
