From wide-eyed SDR at Salesforce. To trainer for Always Hired Sales Bootcamp. All before you can say "I'm sorry, I'm busy right now."

This will be the first part in a series where you get to know some of the most important role players that further Always Hired Sales Bootcamp's mission and brand. There are several people who are instrumental in our business and we feel like they deserve recognition for their role. Without further ado, here is a little piece that will help you get to know a trainer of our sales bootcamp, Chad Balistrieri. Starting as an SDR for Salesforce, Chad has worked his way up in the tech sales industry through numerous companies. We are lucky to have him as one of our trainers!

Chad has a crucial role in what we do at Always Hired Sales Bootcamp. Every week he works with students in the training program and facilitates the exercises they do, like training them in Salesforce. He must provide the students with honest feedback about how they are doing and where they can improve. Almost all of this feedback is constructive criticism, with the end goal being that the students improve over feeling good about themselves. This can sometimes be tough for a people person like Chad. But through his experiences of crushing his quota, he knows that it's necessary for the students to hear it because it will help them in the long run.

Here's Chad's professional background:

Get to know Chad:

Q: Do any former employees of yours stand out? Why?

A: Absolutely. I think the people that stand out are the ones who were most helpful to others on the floor. But, also, they were finding ways to permeate their brand throughout the company. Whether they were meeting with Product or Marketing, they worked well cross-functionally because they truly cared about the work and the company leveling up.

Q: If you could give one piece of advice to any entry-level sales person, what would it be?

A: Keep your head down and your mind open. Hard work is important, but being open to learning and change are crucial as well.

Q: If you weren't generating revenue for tech companies, what would you be doing?

A: I would like to say acting or something in the music industry. I love live music and attend at least one concert per week. I've always dreamed about creating my own festival experience.

Now as a trainer, Chad is helping people break into tech by imparting knowledge he has gained throughout his journey. He guides students through all the difficult challenges that people early in their tech career go through. Since he's been there before, his firsthand experience at Salesforce and other companies is extremely valuable to those who are getting acclimated to the life of an SDR!
